Gadi Care Foundation Sympathizes with Flood-Affected Communities, Donates Essential Items
Recently, three communities in Bauchi State—Ramin Kasa, Bulkachuwa, and Sabon Gari—were devastated by severe flooding that left a trail of destruction in its wake. The heavy rains in Ramin Kasa demolished homes and destroyed property, leaving countless families in despair. In Bulkachuwa, the floodwaters severely damaged the vital road that connects the community to Azare and Potiskum, isolating residents and cutting them off from essential services. Sabon Gari was hit the hardest; the village was almost completely erased, forcing its inhabitants to abandon their homes and seek refuge in temporary shelters provided by the Bauchi State Government.
In the face of such overwhelming adversity, Gadi Care Foundation stepped forward to offer a helping hand. Understanding the immense challenges these communities are facing, our team visited the affected areas to witness the damages firsthand and provide much-needed support. We met with community leaders and residents, shared in their grief, and offered words of comfort and solidarity during these trying times.
But our visit was not just about offering sympathy. We came prepared with essential supplies—food items and other necessities that are crucial for daily survival. These donations are meant to provide immediate relief to the flood victims, helping them sustain their families as they begin the arduous process of rebuilding their lives.
At Gadi Care Foundation, we believe in standing by our communities, especially in times of crisis. Our hearts go out to those affected, and we remain committed to providing continued support as they recover from this disaster.
Join us in our mission to uplift these communities. Together, we can make a difference. Donate here to take part: https://gadicarefoundation.org.ng/?page_id=13349
